Faith and worship

Faith is an important part of many migrant domestic workers’ lives in Singapore. In these spaces of worship, migrant women may find a sense of peace or purpose, pray for loved ones and for better times in moments of hardship and to find community and build friendships. Participating in these spaces of workshop and in prayer rituals also give migrant women a sense of hope when the future is uncertain.
